dc.description.abstract | Se presenta una aproximación de algunos de los elementos que conforman las bases de la construcción de un modelo regio en los reinos de Castilla y León, a través de la descripción de algunas formas de legitimación del poder real durante el periodo de la Reconquista. Se expone que en la Península Ibérica, en particular en Castilla y León, existiendo una raíz cultural común con el resto de Europa, se desarrolló un modelo político y social caracterizado por la situación de guerra fronteriza con el Islam. En ese contexto la figura del monarca se perfiló como un símbolo, depositario de una herencia el linaje visigodo y con una misión religiosa y militar: la derrota del Islam invasor. | es_ES |
dc.description.abstract | This is an approach to some elements wich shaped the foundations of a royal model in the kingdoms of Castile and Leon, through the description of the ways to legitimise royal power during this period of the Spanish Reconquista. Hispania, having common cultural roots with the rest of Europe, developed a political and social model wich was unique due to the frontier war against the Muslims. In this context the figure of the monarch arouse as a symbol, depository of a legacy the visigothic lineage, and holding a military religious mission: to defeat the invading Islamic powers. | |
