dc.description.abstractLa presente tesis está orientada a identificar, en personas que han adoptado mascotas desde el Centro de rescate animal Pro Adopciones Chile, los valores que se desprenden del término Biofília y describir las formas en que se manifiestan estos valores, como conductas, pensamientos, emociones, sentimientos, etc. Tras realizar seis entrevistas en terreno, se concluye que estos valores biofílicos se encuentran presentes y se expresan en forma clara en la muestra estudiada. Asimismo, de estas conclusiones se desprenden aportes a diferentes ramas de la doctrina psicológica, entre ellas a la Psicología Clínica, Psicología Organizacional, a la Socio-Comunitaria y a la Clínica Sistémica. The present thesis is aimed at identify the values entailed within the concept of Biophilia in people who have adopted pets from the Center Pro Adopciones Chile. In doing so, the thesis describes the ways whereby these values manifest, such as behaviors, thoughts, emotions and feelings. After having carried out six interviews in the field, the authors conclude that these biophilia values are clearly present in the sample under study. Furthermore, these findings contribute to different branches of psychological discipline, including the Clinical Psychology, Organizational Psychology, the Socio-Community Psychology and Systemic Clinical Psychology.
