Un Análisis Comparativo al Compromiso Ético Universitario, entre una Institución de Educación Superior Pública y Privada de México.

Abstract

La presente investigación tiene como finalidad el analizar el Compromiso Ético Universitario entre una Institución de Educación Superior (IES) privada y otra pública en México, estudiando aspectos relevantes acerca de la Responsabilidad Social Universitaria (RSU). Para darle inicio al proyecto de investigación, primeramente se hizo una revisión literaria, esto con la finalidad de comprender como el término de Responsabilidad Social fue llevado al ámbito universitario, para generar la RSU. Como siguiente paso, se definió el carácter de la investigación a realizar, la cual es considerado como una investigación de carácter cuantitativa, de metodología no experimental-descriptiva, con una intención comparativa y de corte transversal. Posteriormente, se diseñó un instrumento para ser aplicado a una muestra de conveniencia, participando 200 alumnos, los cuales 100 pertenecían a una IES de carácter pública y otra IES de carácter privada, siendo objeto de estudios las dos IES más representativas de Ciudad Obregón, Sonora, México. Dicha investigación, realizo interesantes hallazgos por medio de la comparación. Concluyentemente, se dice que las IES tienen la tarea y la responsabilidad de incentivar a sus estudiantes a desarrollar proyectos que generen un impacto social, las nuevas generaciones de profesionistas deben de entender la responsabilidad y el compromiso que cargan; por otro lado, las IES públicas en base a lo obtenido, deben de desarrollar programas que mejoren los resultados obtenidos en cuestiones de RSU, para que sus estudiantes realmente adquieran un compromiso ético ante la sociedad.

The purpose of this research is to analyze the University Ethical Commitment between a private Institution of Higher Education (HEI) and another one published in Mexico, studying relevant aspects of University Social Responsibility (USR). To start the research project, first a literary revision was made, this with the purpose of understanding how the term of Social Responsibility was taken to the university environment, to generate the USR. As a next step, the character of the research to be carried out was defined, which is considered as a quantitative research, of a non-experimental-descriptive methodology, with a comparative and transversal intention. Afterwards, an instrument was designed and validated to be applied to a sample of convenience, in which 200 students participated, of which 100 belonged to a HEI of a public nature and another HEI of a private nature, being the subject of studies the two most representative HEIs of Ciudad Obregon, Sonora, Mexico. This research, made interesting findings through comparison. Concluding, it is said that HEI have the task and responsibility to encourage their students to develop projects that generate a social impact, new generations of professionals must understand the responsibility and commitment they carry; On the other hand, the public HEIs, based on what has been obtained, must develop programs that improve the results obtained in USR issues, so that their students really acquire an ethical commitment to society.
