The work Directio speculantis seu de li non aliud by Nicolás de Cusa has generated controversy around some topics of metaphysical order as it refers to God. One of the main accusations revolves around the eventual pantheism, a question that would be sustained fundamentally from the way of proceeding and to make logical in De non aliud. In this way, in this article two central objectives are established: first, to establish whether in the logical way of proceeding of the Nicolás de Cusa it necessarily leads to establish a pantheistic consideration of reality. And, second, if it is possible to detach from this same procedure, the unity of God or if, in short, it is reduced to gender.
