dc.description.abstractEl presente artículo da cuenta de un “Modelo para determinar Competencias y Perfiles”, principalmente en la Educación Superior, desarrollado por el autor e implementado en diversas universidades chilenas, en el contexto del proceso de innovación curricular al cual se han ido adhiriendo cada vez más instituciones educacionales. En primer lugar se hace una revisión bibliográfica, respecto de lo que han sido los procesos de innovación curricular bajo enfoque de competencias en Europa, América Latina y Chile, desde la última década del siglo veinte a la fecha. Luego, se presenta el modelo para determinar competencias y perfiles, en un proceso de rediseño curricular; en donde se examinan cada uno de los componentes de dicho modelo. Posteriormente, se presenta la metodología utilizada para poder arribar a la matriz de competencias y al perfil de egreso de una carrera o especialidad, en la Educación Superior. Seguidamente, se señala cómo es posible establecer el Plan de Estudio y los Programas de Estudios correspondientes; finalizando en el texto con algunas conclusiones relativas al modelo y su implementación.es_ES
dc.description.abstractThe following article presents a “Model to determine Profiles and Competencies”, primarily in Higher Education, developed by the author and implemented in diverse chilean universities. Initially appears a bibliographic revision with respects to what has been the innovative curricular process through competencies in Europe, Latin America and Chile from the last decade of the twentieth century until now. After appears the model to determine profiles and competencies through a process of curricular redesign where each one of the components is examined. Thereafter appears the methodology used in order to arrive at the matrix of competencies as well as the graduates profile from his or her major or specialization in higher education. Subsequently, the article indicates how it is possible to establish a Plan of Study and its corresponding Program of Studies; finalizing in the text with a few relative conclusions concerning the model and its implementation.
