dc.description.abstractEl objetivo de este artículo es difundir los resultados de una evaluación de proceso realizada a una iniciativa de apoyo a la gestión de bibliotecas escolares. También da cuenta de la pertinencia que este espacio tiene para el fortalecimiento de los procesos de enseñanza aprendizaje, mostrando los resultados observados en los estudiantes y en sus hábitos lectores. Los resultados indican que los estudiantes de los colegios atendidos a través de sus bibliotecas, están modificando sus hábitos lectores. Esto se aprecia tanto en la valoración y frecuencia de lectura. como en las motivaciones y disminución de las limitaciones lectoras. A modo de conclusión, emerge la necesidad de crear un modelo prototípico de gestión de bibliotecas escolares, para mejorar el fomento lector.es_ES
dc.description.abstractThe aim of this article is to disseminate the results of an evaluation about the process that is being made to an initiative to support the management of school libraries. Also reports about the pertinency of this space to strengthen the teaching and learning processes, showing the results observed in the students and their reading habits. The results show that students in schools attended by their libraries, are modifying their reading habits. This is reflected both the valoration and the reading frequency, as in the motivations and decreased of reading limitations. ln conclusion, it emerges the need to create a prototypical model for managing school libraries, to improve the reading promotion.
