dc.description.abstractLa manifestación de comportamientos positivos enfrentados a situaciones de adversidad, ha captado el interés de diversos investigadores y en diversos ámbitos del desarrollo humano. El objetivo del presente artículo es analizar las posibles aplicaciones de este concepto en el proceso educativo en América Latina. Los desarrollos de la neurociencia enfatizan la importancia de la etapa prenatal hasta los seis años, como una vía posible para abrir ventanas de oportunidad a la resiliencia potencial presente en todos los seres humanos. La educación adquiere relevancia en el desarrollo de los comportamientos resilientes, cuando proporciona las condiciones ambientales que promueven los mecanismos asociadas a la resiliencia para el desarrollo de las personas.es_ES
dc.description.abstractThe demonstration of positive behavior when facing adverse situations has captured attention of several researchers in different fields of human development. The objective of this article is to analyze the possible applications of this concept in the educational process in Latin America. Neuroscience breakthroughs emphasize the importance of prenatal stage until 6 years of age as a means of opening new windows of opportunity for potential resilience in all human beings. Education becomes relevant in the development of resilient behavior when it provides environment conditions stimulating mechanisms associated to resilience for each individual's development.
