dc.description.abstract | El presente articulo tiene como propósito identificar, a partir de las experiencias y percepciones de desertores y estudiantes vulnerables, los factores de carácter intra y extraescolar que inciden en el abandono escolar en el ciclo primario, en la comuna de Cerro Navia. La informacion cualitativa que sirve de base a este trabajo se obtuvo de entrevistas a dos muestras de 25 casos: una de menores desertores y otra compuesta de niños y niñas de idéntico perfil que permanecen en la escuela. Los resultados permiten establecer importantes diferencias en los itinerarios educativos y trayectorias sociales de desertores y no desertores, lo que otorga algunas luces respecto de qué tipo de acciones podrían adoptar los propios establecimientos educacionales en orden a prevenir la deserción temprana de sus estudiantes | es_ES |
dc.description.abstract | This article aims at identifying, from the experiences and perceptions of dropouts and vulnerable students, the intra- and extra-school factors influencing primary school dropout in the district of Cerro Navia. The qualitative information underlying this study was obtained from interviews to two sample groups consisting of 25 children: one group consisting of dropouts and the other consisting of male and female children with a similar profile to dropouts and who are still attending to school. The results allow establishing major differences in the educational route and social trajectory of school dropouts and non-dropouts. This sheds some light on the actions that could be taken by primary schools to prevent early dropouts. | |
