dc.description.abstract | Se presentan los resultados de un estudio sobre directivos universitarios en el que se indaga respecto de sus funciones, capacidades para ejecutarlas y las necesidades formativas asociadas a dicho ejercicio. Las principales conclusiones dan cuenta de la necesidad de distinguir entre tipo de cargo o nivel jerárquico en la organización, tanto para valorar la importancia de ciertas funciones, como para desarrollar programas orientados a eliminar brechas en el adecuado ejercicio directivo. Asimismo se logra identificar el tipo de competencia directiva según funciones y la distinción de estilos de gestión conforme cargo. Lo anterior permite proponer un modelo del accionar directivo y con ello dar un paso en la comprensión de la gestión así como en la intervención para su mejora. | es_ES |
dc.description.abstract | The results of a study on university directors, investigating their functions, capacity to perform those functions, and formative needs associated to this performance, are presented in the present article. The main conclusions account for the need of distinguishing between the types of position or hierarchical level within the organization, both to raise the importance of certain functions and to develop formative programs aimed at bridging the gaps found in the appropriate managerial performance. The type of managerial competence according to the functions, and the distinction of management styles according to the position are also identified. This allows to propose a model that outlines the managerial performance. and thus to move forward to a better understanding of management as well as to enhance the actions aiming at improving management. | |
