dc.description.abstractEl presente artículo forma parte de los insumos proporcionados por una investigación empírica, realizada por la Universidad Ucinf y el Programa Interdisciplinario de Investigaciones en Educación (PIIE), donde, entre otros aspectos, se identificaron las principales características de la Educación terciaria en Chile, vista desde la perspectiva de la formación técnico-profesional, Específicamente, este articulo se refiere al contexto académico en el que se desenvuelve la labor de docentes y relatores de los Centros de Formación Técnica (CFT), relevando al mismo tiempo, los principales rasgos que definen el perfil del docente técnico en la educación superior. Esta reflexión permite vislumbrar los desafíos de nuestro sistema educativo y los ajustes que podrían introducirse, para fortalecer y actualizar las competencias laborales de los profesionales que se desempeñan en el ámbito académico de los CFT.es_ES
dc.description.abstractThis article is part of the inputs provided by an empirical research conducted by Universidad UCINF along with the lnterdisciplinary Program of Research in Education (PIIE). ln this research the main characteristics of Tertiary Education in Chile, among other things, were identified, especially in technical-professional training. This article refers specifically to the academic context in which the work of teachers and lecturers of Technical Training Centres (CFF) is performed. It also highlights the main features defining the teacher profile in technical higher education. This reflection provides a glimpse into the challenges of our educational system and the adjustments that could be made to strengthen and upgrade the work skills of professionals performing at CFT`s.
